THE CODE WE LIVE BY

OUR CODE IS OUR CULTURE - THE WAY WE DO THINGS, THE WAY WE ACT, THE WAY WE LIVE.

What sets NGA apart from other programs is the level of depth that we are able to establish. Our code is something we here at NGA strive to do and become every day. Our participants learn these values during the opening workshop, from then on they do their best to live them in everything they do and everywhere they go. In short, the following five points is what NGA family is all about.

PLAY FULL OUT!

We say: The way you do anything is the way you do everything! Take it to the max. Give 100%, all that you got. In every moment and every challenge we are faced with, we do our best to give it our all and then some. When playing full out, we seldom settle for less than the best. We raise our standards. We approach what others would see as major problems with a willingness to grow and to learn, regardless of how difficult it may be. We only have one life, so why go through it half-heartedly?

GIVE & RECEIVE

All too often we are only told to give, give, give. Of course, giving is what makes life worthwhile, but it is equally important to nurture one's ability to receive. It is important to live in harmony; if we are constantly giving without receiving anything in return, we tend to burn out or lose our vision. Giving cannot exist without receiving, and they go hand in hand. To receive is to grant another person the opportunity to give to you. We do our best to receive others' gifts and help and recognize when we ourselves may be in need.

BE TRUE TO YOURSELF AND OTHERS

We strive to act in accordance with who we truly are and what we believe, and then extend our true selves to those around us. We are honest with ourselves so that we may be honest with others. We love ourselves so that we may love others. As leaders, we first respect ourselves before we can even expect to be respected by others. To be true to ourselves takes courage. It requires us to be introspective, sincere, open-minded and fair to ourselves and others.

CELEBRATE THE VICTORIES

Any accomplishment, big or small, should be greeted with a celebration. It doesn’t have to be a party, just something to acknowledge your hard work and success, and the express gratitude for those who helped us achieve it. Aknowleging your accomplishment it's a building block of a strong self-esteem. We celebrate with our team with a dance party, or we celebrate it by ourselves by taking a relaxing break. This helps us stay our course and continue to realize our goals. By refreshing ourselves and refueling our passion, we continue our success, regardless of what it is we are doing.

SINCERITY / PERSONAL INTEGRITY

We do our best to "become our word", that is, we say what we mean and mean what we say. We don't make false promises or say things when we have no intention of fulfilling it. The greatest people on this Earth are those who are able to merge their thoughts, ideals, and words with their actions. If we ask someone to do something, we too must be willing to do that thing. If we expect something from someone else, we must be able to expect the same from ourselves. We strive to be motivated by only the best of intentions, to always think and act with others in mind. Sincerity starts from our own thoughts, and are reflected in who we are and what we do.
